Joyce Wallace (Londry)
Joyce passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Saturday, March 26, 2016, in her 85th year. Born in Comber, Ontario, on Monday, May 4, 1931, Margaret Joyce (nee Londry) Wallace of RR#4 Seaforth was the last surviving member of the Londry family.
Loving mother of Heather and Fred MacDonald of RR#3 Kippen, Richard and Laura Wallace of St. Marys, Pauline and Mike Mero of Seaforth, and mother-in-law of Lloyd Lostell of RR#3 Kippen. Cherished grandma of Lois Anne (Terry) Smith, Steven Lostell, Robert Lostell, Derek (Cate) MacDonald, Kayleigh (Brody) Pickard, Greg (Kaytlynn) Wallace, Aaron (Quinn) Mero, Kyle (Jess) Mero, Laura (Nathan) Mero, great-grandma of Kaytlin, Megan, Jacob, Jaden, Corrinn, Reece, Kyla, Denny, and great-great-grandma of Morgan. Joyce will also be missed by her sister-in-law Jessie Wannamaker of Napanee and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her loving husband Doug Wallace, daughter Carol Anne Lostell, grandson Christopher Wallace, great-grandson Tristan Mero, parents Earle and Mable (nee Goatbe) Londry, brothers John and Harold, sisters Madeline, Yvonne, Elizabeth, and by many siblings-in-law.
Visitation will be held at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of Joyce’s funeral service to celebrate her life at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of Egmondville United Church and interment will take place in Egmondville Cemetery later in the spring.
