Derek Murray Fischer
Derek passed away suddenly as the result of a car accident on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Born in Stratford, Ontario, on October 6, 1986, Derek Murray Fischer of Kitchener, was 30 years old.
Cherished son of Colleen (née Murray) Lowes (Larry) of Seaforth and Laurie Fischer of Kitchener. Loving brother of Janine Fischer (Conrad Neufeld) of Kitchener and step-brother of Chris Lowes (Christine Skuce) of Woodstock, Brad Lowes (Janyn Doan) of Calgary and Shawn Lowes (Jenny) of Woodstock. Also missed by his Grandpa Ralph Fischer (Fran) of Seaforth, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Marion Murray and Joyce Fischer, aunt Louise Murray, uncle Dan Murray and cousin Courtney Fischer.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, October 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Derek’s Funeral will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Monday, October 17th at 11 a.m., with Fr. Raju Allumpurath officiating. Interment will take place in St. Columban Catholic Cemetery followed by a reception at the Seaforth & District Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huron Perth Canadian Mental Health Association, Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of choice would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
