Below is a list of questions and responses that we commonly receive at the funeral home. We will continue to include any new questions in this section that we feel would be helpful to others.
If you would prefer to call us on the telephone, our staff would be pleased to provide an answer to any funeral related matter you may have. If we do not have the answer immediately, we will find it for you and contact you the minute the information is in our hands.
Question #1 | Do you serve coffee? |
Answer: | Yes we have a coffee room which is available during the visitation hours and is for your convenience on the same floor plan as the visitation rooms. |
Question #2 | What is a Pre-Arranged Funeral? |
Answer: | A pre-arranged funeral ia a funeral arranged and planned prior to death. It is a way for the wishes to be known and documented. These arrangements can be made with a licenced funeral director at the funeral home or at the comfort of your own residence. |
Question #3 | What are the advantages of a Pre-Arranged Funeral? |
Answer: | Pre-arrangements give you an opportunity to talk openly and not under stress with a licensed funeral director, and fully understand and ask questions of what services are being performed and the cost involved. It allows for you to make thoughtful, meaningful and informed decisions which will serve as a guide for your family and friends. Question #4 | Can a Pre-Arranged Funeral be paid for in advance? |
Answer: | Yes, the pre-arrangement can be pre-paid, at which time the money is held in trust in a G.I.C. at a Trust Bank or trust account or Insurance Fund until the services are required. |
Question #5 | Do you take donations for different memorial charities? |
Answer: | Yes, we look after all memorial donations. We prefer to accept memorials by cheque. If you cannot attend the visitation/service, but would like to make a donation, you can do so online by credit card or cheque (mailed directly to the charity). We also list all the donations in the register book for the family and address labels for the Thank You Acknowledgement Cards. |
