Obituary for
Ron Driscoll
Ron passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday, August 8, 2016. Born in Seaforth, Ontario, on April 8, 1941, Ronald Scott Driscoll of Seaforth, was in his 76th year.
Beloved husband of the late Karen (nee Hugill) Driscoll (2000). Loving father of Shelly Parker and her husband Len of Glammis and Scott Driscoll and his wife Coleen of Guelph. Cherished Papa of Jeff Parker, Greg Parker, Colin Underwood (Michelle), Ryan Driscoll, Danielle Driscoll and Devon Driscoll. Dear brother of John Driscoll (Mary Lou) of Walton and Barb MacDonald of Seaforth. Ron will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Ross and Dorothy (nee Somerville) Driscoll, his brother Gordon Driscoll and brother-in-law Bill Ross.
At Ron’s request cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, August 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and will continue at First Presbyterian Church, 59 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, on Saturday, August 13 from 1 p.m. until the time of Ron’s funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Maitlandbank Cemetery followed by a reception at the Seaforth Legion Branch 156.
